The Bride and Bloom Debuts National Digital Magazine November 2010 and launches New Localized Print Editions of the Magazine January 2011

This November The Bride and Bloom will debut a new quarterly national digital magazine that will reach more brides than ever before. A larger format print publication will hit localized markets biannually beginning January 2011.

Los Angeles, Calif. (08/18/10) – Innovative bridal publication The Bride and Bloom will offer its savvy readership an exciting, new interactive digital platform to present its stylish concepts for weddings and life. It will focus on the building blocks of marriage, inspirations for weddings and nesting design styles for newlyweds.

The Bride and Bloom recognizes that devotees of its magazine expect the publication to understand current trends and to be a pioneer in the wedding design industry. To that end, an interactive digital magazine will be offered four times a year and promises to offer much more than the typical page turner, inviting readers to interact with the content. Look for the launch of the national digital version this November. The national print magazine will continue to be distributed through Barnes and Noble, Borders and other select retail outlets.

Editor in Chief and Co-Publisher Carol Poon says, “The world is changing and the way that information is being delivered to the consumer is more immediate and better than ever. In the media business, one needs to understand how to change with the times and deliver this information to the brides in a relevant vehicle, along with understanding how best to serve advertisers by getting their messages seen by brides.”

In addition, the printed magazine will debut in a new larger format for local markets. Each edition will focus on local brides and editorial and will be offered as a bi-annual local publication. The switch to a twice-a-year publication is also a result of the magazine’s goal to leave a lighter carbon footprint. As more and more people realize that being “green” is not just a fad, The Bride and Bloom once again leads the way in changing the industry standard.

National Distributors Pick up THE BRIDE AND BLOOM

Torrance, Calif. – The Bride and Bloom, the latest bridal publication to hit the stands, has picked up national distribution. Proof that the time was right for a bridal magazine devoted to the design elements of a wedding

Publisher and editor Carol Poon began The Bride and Bloom earlier this year to fill a void left by traditional wedding publications that do a great job focusing on the look of the bride, but not her wedding. “Brides have responded extremely favorable to The Bride and Bloom,” Poon says. “And advertisers have also been thrilled to find a vehicle that informs brides on color, texture, products and designs that enhance their total experience. We even have readers within the trade from florists and caterers to planners.”

A quarterly, The Bride and Bloom is sleek, artsy and innovative. Articles include color swatches, design tips, floral definitions and many more elements that give the bride the tools she needs to design her events.

The Bride and Bloom is available at Barnes & Noble, Borders, Books A Millions, B. Dalton, Book Stop, Kroeger’s and fine retailers.
